A rock and blues band from "The Clem"
CRAYCRAFT is a unique and talented blend of musicians from Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
Throughout their musical careers all four members seemed to always end up playing together in various incarnations. Wayne Craycraft had always worked fronting various cover bands while developing his own music and songs. CRAYCRAFT was formed in 2002 when Steve Ferdig ( bassist and backup vocals) convinced Wayne that his music had developed to the point to make it worthwhile to go off on his own. Wayne knew he would need the right blend of musicians to bring the proper mood to his musical inspirations, so he sat down with Steve and quickly whittled down the list of candidates. Dennis Massimino, who both Wayne and Steve had known for years, was brought in to handle the percussion. When their initial choice for lead guitar had to leave the project for personal reasons, long time friend Mel Kerner stepped in to help out. This combination of talent blended together perfectly to become the CRAYCRAFT band. CRAYCRAFT music is a trip to "old school" Rock and Blues, seamlessly integrated with a flavor of the modern sound. When you see and hear one of their shows, you'll definitely appreciate what their music is all about!
